Class Reunion for the 34th NMSP Recruit Class

WELCOME! We are planning a 34th NMSP Class Reunion for all of our NMSP recruit classmates before we all get too old! Ha!

So far, we have contacted Felix Valdez, Rick Poolaw, Tommy Otero, Eric Lucero, John Balderston, Leo Lopez, Leon Warren and Steve Tellez!  We had our first meeting in May to put some thoughts on paper and begin planning it. Here are some of our initial ideas:

• First and foremost, contact EVERY classmate and get their current home and cell phone numbers, personal emails, new addresses, and significant others name, we have 16 left to contact (click on Class Roster to see list of classmates).

• We have monthly planning meetings on the second Wednesday of every month in Albuquerque where those of us that can, meet and discuss our progress.  EVERYONE can help with the planning from where you are by simply helping us find ALL of our classmates!  Once you find someone please have them email G1@iG1usa.com or call Rick Poolaw at 505-315-8534.

• NEXT MEETING:

• August 13th, 2008 at 11:00am at Barelas Café located at 1502 4th Street SW (Cesar Chavez & 4th).  We will be sitting in the back outside seating area.

• Gil already has an 8x10 blow-up of our graduating class for each class member to be given at the class reunion.

• Special thanks to Inspector Mike Valverde, NMSP who is helping us with everything he can.

• Felix and Rick are looking for our class roster-No progress yet.

• Steve Tellez, one of our classmates has been promoted to Deputy Chief of APS Police Department—CONGRATULATIONS!

• Rick Poolaw contacted Eric Lucero and Leon Warren.

• John Balderston is trying to contact Danny Kiper, Dorcas Bailey and Bill Hill for us.  

• Felix is trying to contact Mike Shriver.

• Tommy Otero is trying to contact Sue DeWalt.    

If any of you know how to contact one of our classmates listed on the Class Roster please email me or call Rick Poolaw with their information, so we can get them and their information on the list. The Classmates will be added as we contact them.
